For those of you who don’t know a lot about Daniel, he was born in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. Dan is the middle child in a family of three boys who all play rugby – two of them still at a professional level. Son of a doctor, Daniel showed a great interest in the theatre at a young age while actively particpating in football, having won a scholarship to Gannon University where he studied Liberal Arts for two years.

Following his rise to fame following his appearance in X-Men 2 (2003) as Colossus, Daniel has recently enjoyed success as Felix in the Twilight Saga: New Moon, a role he will reprise in the Twilight Saga: Eclipse (release date: June 30th 2010).

When he’s not intimidating his co-stars on screen, Daniel enjoys skiing, snowboarding, riding his motorbike and rollerblading (according to his occasional partner-in-crime Charlie Bewley).
